Wake Forest put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Northern Durham Knights 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Hardy looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Kellen Rogers was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carlos Diaz, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Wake Forest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern Durham only posted a batting average of .133.

Wake Forest's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Durham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wake Forest will square off against Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Durham, they will face off against Falls Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
