Hunter is a perfect 10-0 against Taylorsville since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Hunter's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hunter's offense. They fell 2-0 to Juan Diego Catholic last Thursday.

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Taylorsville and Cyprus, and Cyprus kept the tradition alive. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Pirates who were credited with the victory last Thursday. Cyprus got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Taylorsville's three.

Carlos Carrasco and Elias Mendoza scored both of the Warriors' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Hunter's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Taylorsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Hunter skirted past Taylorsville 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
