Baseball Recap: Corvian Community Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Corvian Community's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Christ the King Crusaders on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost six in a row.

Corvian Community's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Christ the King, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corvian Community will challenge Union Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ the King, they will square off against Lincoln Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
