Baseball Recap: North Union Takes a Loss

North Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Benjamin Logan Raiders, falling 9-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

North Union saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashtin Haubiel, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Haubiel snagged this season.

North Union's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Benjamin Logan, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

North Union will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on May 15. As for Benjamin Logan, they will head out to face off against London at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
