Basketball Game Preview: Bellbrook Golden Eagles vs. Franklin Wildcats

The Bellbrook Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Franklin Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bellbrook knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Franklin likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Bellbrook was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley View, taking the game 66-57.

Meanwhile, Franklin didn't have too much trouble with West Carrollton on Tuesday as they won 64-49. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bellbrook's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Bellbrook came up short against Franklin in their previous meeting back in January, falling 58-51. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Franklin's Kai Cook, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Now that Bellbrook knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
