Red Hook had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 5-4  on Friday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Hudson Bluehawks as they made off with  a  10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won three matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Caden Heeney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on six hits.
 At the plate,  Phillip Briehof was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joseph Virga, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Red Hook  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hudson only managed seven  hits.
As for Hudson,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. The pitching woes were  uncharacteristic for they, who until this  game were averaging 3.4  runs allowed.
 On Hudson's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Conte, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Hook will host Spackenkill  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.71  runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hudson, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Watervliet  at 4:31  p.m.
