Basketball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Pinkston Vikings, falling 68-10. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-14 back in January.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Pinkston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season.

Kimball and Pinkston could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Kimball (ranked 1579th) will meet Wilmer-Hutchins (ranked 548th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pinkston will face off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 866 places (893 vs. 27).
