Ludlowe not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 19th (when they won  22-0). They were the clear victors by  a  16-1 margin over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers. The  victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now won nine in a row.
 Alexa Mills and  Allie Tournas were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Mills   didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Tournas   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Mills has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat,  Mills  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Tournas  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Mills has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gina Solow, who  went 2-for-3 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Ella Gremse, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Ludlowe  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .735. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in four consecutive  matchups.
