Soccer Game Preview: Taft vs. O'Connor

The Taft Raiders will venture away from home to take on the O'Connor Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Taft will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

Taft's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Brennan.

Meanwhile, O'Connor waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Falcons 4-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Taft pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those seven contests. As for O'Connor, their win bumped their record up to 13-5-3.

Taft beat O'Connor by a goal in their previous matchup back in February, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taft since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
