Softball Recap: Bishop Loughlin Gets the Win

While Bishop Loughlin's victory against St. Saviour wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Panda Bears 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Panda Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Isidora Fuentes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Leah Gethers was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Zoe Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Bishop Loughlin's victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against St. Saviour: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
