Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling was the 3-2 winner over Brazoswood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers on Saturday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brazoswood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Brazoswood has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Angleton on the 23rd. Hopefully Sterling paid attention to the Buccaneers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. on September 2.
