Swink extended their postseason success on Friday against Denver Christian. They blew past the Thunder 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won 17 matches in a row.

Emma Gacnik paced Swink's offense, picking up ten kills. Gacnik got some help from Briana McElroy and her 15 assists. Finally, Taylor Mendenhall and Daisy Heberlie kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked five attacks.

Denver Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bree Austin, who had 17 digs, and Amina Weber, who had 14 kills, five digs, and two aces. Weber is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 22 games she's played.

Swink's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Denver Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 22-5 record.

Swink didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Sedgwick County on the 15th. As for Denver Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wiggins on the 15th.
