Baseball Game Preview: Franklinton Red Rams vs. Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans

The Franklinton Red Rams will challenge the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Franklinton came up short against Roanoke Rapids on Monday, falling 8-1. The Red Rams have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Durham Academy hit Kerr-Vance Academy with a eight-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans lost 14-3 to the Cavaliers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklinton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
