Basketball Game Preview: Cannon County Lions vs. Cascade Champions

The Cannon County Lions will square off against the Cascade Champions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cannon County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Last Tuesday, everything went Cannon County's way against Forrest as Cannon County made off with a 75-53 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cascade waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Vikings/Viqueens with points to spare, taking the game 72-55.

Cannon County has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Cascade, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
