Laguna Acoma is a perfect 6-0 against Navajo Pine since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. Laguna Acoma knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Navajo Pine likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Laguna Acoma got the win against Jemez Valley by a conclusive 14-5. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Warrior recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Navajo Pine lost 21-7 to Northwest on Wednesday.

Taishawn-Malik Billie was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Laguna Acoma's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Navajo Pine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Laguna Acoma took their victory against Navajo Pine in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 24-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
