Soccer Recap: West Comes Up Short

West and Heights pushed the score to 10-0 the last time they played Heights, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Pioneers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for West in their meetings with Heights: they've now lost six in a row.

West's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, West will take on Chanute on Monday. As for Heights, they will challenge Trinity Academy on Friday. Trinity Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Heights surely won't give up without a fight.
