Hawthorne Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down the Eastern Christian Eagles 40-24 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 32-25 on January 8th.

Hawthorne Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Eastern Christian, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Hawthorne Christian will be playing at home against Passaic Arts & Science Charter at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastern Christian, they and Waldwick will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
