Basketball Recap: JAKE COOK Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Shepherd

Huntley Project won the last time they faced Shepherd and things went their way on Saturday too. The Huntley Project Red Devils snuck past the Shepherd Mustangs with a 69-65 win.

Huntley Project's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JAKE COOK led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten assists. Another player making a difference was PARKER COOK, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds.

The victory got Huntley Project back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntley Project is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Poplar at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shepherd, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Ennis at 1:30 p.m. on December 14th.
