Basketball Recap: Atlantic Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Atlantic's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Clarinda Cardinals. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 63-52 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Atlantic's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Clarinda, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic will take on Creston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarinda, they will square off against Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Glenwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
