Basketball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe lost against Varnum back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Glencoe Panthers fell 46-38 to the Varnum Whippets. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Varnum, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Glencoe and Varnum should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Glencoe (ranked 186th) will meet Carney (ranked 445th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Varnum will challenge Macomb at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 166 places (160 vs. 326).
