Wasatch has gone 8-1-1 against Timpview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wasps will take on the Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Wasatch fought the good fight in their overtime game against Spanish Fork on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dons by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that Wasatch let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Spanish Fork, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Timpview were already down 4-1.

Timpview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wasatch, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-2.

Everything went Wasatch's way against Timpview in their previous meeting back in March, as Wasatch made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wasps since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
