Basketball Recap: Troy Beats Mohonasen for Their Third Straight Win

Troy had won two straight games and Amaya Harris did her part to make it three on Friday. The Troy Flying Horses simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mohonasen Warriors 55-28 thanks in part to Harris, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 17 points and seven boards. Harris is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Troy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Mohonasen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-40 win against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake on the 21st. Mohonasen has also already played their next contest (against Thomas Jefferson Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
