Basketball Recap: North Lake Continues Road Dominance on Monday

On MondayNorth Lake's undefeated season almost came to an end. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Culver Bulldogs 34-31. The 34-point effort marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

North Lake pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Culver, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lake won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oakridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lake is facing Oakridge at the right time seeing as Oakridge is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Culver, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Sisters at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sisters knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Culver likes a good challenge.
