Softball Recap: Woburn Memorial Comes Up Short

Woburn Memorial was the 9-7 winner over Burlington when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Tanners fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 13-12 on Sunday.

Woburn Memorial's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Burlington, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Woburn Memorial will face off against rival Reading Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on the 20th. Meanwhile, Burlington is set to take on their familiar foe Belmont at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
