Glenbard East was the 2-0 winner over Saint Ignatius College Prep when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Wolfpack on Friday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Belle McDermott paced Glenbard East's offense, picking up 12 kills. McDermott got some help from Natalie Slusher and her 14 assists. McDermott was also a major player on defense: she and Claire Bolda shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Glenbard East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Coincidentally, Glenbard East and Saint Ignatius College Prep will both be playing Schaumburg the next time they take the court. The Wolfpack will head out to face the Saxons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
