Basketball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek lost against Mainland Regional back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cedar Creek Pirates took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mainland Regional Mustangs. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mainland Regional, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

Cedar Creek will square off against Hammonton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cedar Creek is facing Hammonton at the right time seeing as Hammonton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mainland Regional, they will head out to face off against St. Augustine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mainland Regional will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: St. Augustine Prep will have lost three straight heading into Monday's game.
