Baseball Recap: Marshall Wins Going Away Against Pewamo-Westphalia

Marshall's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Redhawks considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Colin Stealy was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Aidan Miller was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Marshall hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pewamo-Westphalia struck out six times.

Marshall now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Marshall and Pewamo-Westphalia will both be playing Owosso the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Trojans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Redhawks will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
