Basketball Recap: Bucyrus Takes a Loss

Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Wynford Royals, falling 63-33. While losing is never fun, the Redmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 695th, while the Royals are ranked 209th).

Bucyrus' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Wynford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

When Bucyrus and Wynford next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bucyrus will try to stop Mansfield Christian's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Wynford will square off against Seneca East and their seven-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
