Football Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Memorial's offense. They were outmatched by the Weequahic Indians and fell 46-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heaven Porter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Weequahic, picking up 85 receiving yards and two scores, while also rushing for 60 yards and one TD. Those 85 receiving yards gave Porter a new career-high. Samiyah Hutchins was in the mix too, providing Weequahic with three touchdowns.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Weequahic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Memorial nor Weequahic have any future games scheduled.
