Basketball Recap: Furr Brahmans vs. Austin Mustangs
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Furr). They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over the Austin Mustangs on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Brahmans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Austin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ashtian Glass posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Da?Myia Armstrong, who posted six points.
Furr's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Austin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
