Soccer Game Preview: Helias vs. Hickman

The Helias Crusaders will challenge the Hickman Kewpies at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Helias fought the good fight in their overtime match against Pleasant Hill on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Roosters/Chicks by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Helias have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Hickman came up short against Capital City on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Helias and nudges their season record down to 12-8. As for Hickman, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
