Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belle). They walked away with a 63-53 victory over the New Bloomfield Wildcats on Monday. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 64-62 loss the last time these two teams met.

New Bloomfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jacob Fuhriman, who went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Boessen, who posted eight points.

Belle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for New Bloomfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

The future could be bright for both Belle and New Bloomfield: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Belle will look to extend Bourbon's eight-game losing streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Bloomfield will try to hand Linn their sixth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
