Soccer Recap: Proctor Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Proctor and Mt. St. Joseph Academy pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Mt. St. Joseph Academy, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Phantoms' defense stepped up to hand the Green Wave a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Proctor have won by just one goal.

Proctor is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coincidentally, Proctor and Mt. St. Joseph Academy will both be playing Grace Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Green Wave will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Phantoms will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
