Softball Recap: Stevenson's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Stevenson entered their tilt with South Lyon on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Stevenson pushed their record up to 22-8-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for South Lyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stevenson will host Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Lyon, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Franklin at 4:00 p.m. The last three games the Patriots have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
