Basketball Recap: Jamel Flaggs Key Part of a Team Effort in Rebels Win

Groves won the last time they faced Southeast Bulloch and things went their way on Saturday too. The Groves Rebels walked away with a 61-50 win over the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Groves to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamel Flaggs, who posted 14 points. Cameron Jenkins was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Groves' win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Southeast Bulloch, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Groves wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-50 loss against Beach on the 4th. Southeast Bulloch has also already played their next contest (against Jenkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
