Volleyball Recap: West Limestone Comes Up Short

West Limestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. John Paul II Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 26-24.

West Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 15-18-1. As for St. John Paul II, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 25-11.

Looking ahead, West Limestone will be taking part in a tournament against Lexington at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. John Paul II, they will host Good Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
