It was a good run, but Christian Brothers Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Lacey Township Lions. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14.

Seamus McGoldrick paced Christian Brothers Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. McGoldrick got some help from Jake Tarzian and his seven assists.

Christian Brothers Academy now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lacey Township, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Christian Brothers Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
