Basketball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Walther Christian Academy lost against IC Catholic Prep back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Walther Christian Academy Broncos were dealt a 75-40 loss at the hands of the IC Catholic Prep Knights. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Knights are ranked 96th).

Walther Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for IC Catholic Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walther Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Islamic Foundation), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. IC Catholic Prep has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Saint Ignatius College Prep.
