Volleyball Recap: Three Rivers Beats Hopkins for Their Third Straight Win

Three Rivers waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hopkins Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Braylee Burg paced Three Rivers' offense, picking up seven kills. Burg got some help from Miley Southland and her 19 assists. Southland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Three Rivers' win bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Hopkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Three Rivers will take on Otsego at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hopkins, they will head out to face off against Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
