Football Recap: Chester Flyers vs. Wall Eagles

Chester and Wall squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chester had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Wall Eagles 52-0. The shutout was out of character for the Flyers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

It was another big night for Tanner Volmer, who rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 76 yards and three touchdowns for Wall. Volmer's longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards. Jace Blasius was in the mix as well, providing Wall with three touchdowns.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wall, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Chester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wall, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-12 win against Castlewood on the 31st.
