Basketball Recap: Verden Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Verden lost against Rush Springs back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Verden Tigers took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rush Springs Redskins.

Verden's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Rush Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Verden will venture away from home to take on Ninnekah at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Verden is facing Ninnekah at the right time seeing as Ninnekah is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Rush Springs, they will square off against Minco at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
