Basketball Recap: Lamoure/Litchville-Marion Extends Winning Streak to Eight

LaMoure/Litchville-Marion waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They enjoyed a cozy 52-36 victory over the Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates. Given the Loboes' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Pirates are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

LaMoure/Litchville-Marion is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen], they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

LaMoure/Litchville-Marion will take on Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
