Mater Dei Catholic had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Mater Dei Catholic was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 25-19.
