Basketball Recap: Osceola Piles Up the Points Against Windsor

Osceola waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Windsor Greyhounds 65-20. That looming 65-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

Laney Uchtman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 11 on her way to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Rollins, who posted nine points.

Osceola's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Windsor, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Osceola will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sherwood at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Windsor also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Stover at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
