Baseball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood was the 14-5 winner over Northern Highlands when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 6-3 to the Highlanders on Saturday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steve Klein, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Northern Highlands, their record now sits at 13-10.

Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Highlands, they will challenge Wayne Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
