Basketball Recap: Marlboro County Takes a Loss

Marlboro County lost against Scotland back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marlboro County Bulldogs fell 60-49 to the Scotland Fighting Scots.

Marlboro County dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Scotland, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlboro County and Andrew Jackson will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Andrew Jackson will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Marlboro County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Scotland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cheraw at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
