Football Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens lost against Brandon Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders had to suffer through a 55-3 loss at the hands of the Lynx. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Lynx are ranked fourth).

Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brandon Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Stevens will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Sturgis Brown at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brandon Valley, they are taking a road trip to square off against O'Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
