Volleyball Game Preview: Bremen Braves vs. Kankakee Kays

The Bremen Braves will take on the Kankakee Kays at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bremen has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 12th.

On Thursday, Bremen came up short against Reavis and fell 2-0.

While Bremen had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Kankakee had just enough and edged out Crete-Monee 2-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kays.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Kankakee who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-18.

Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Kankakee, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
