Auburn had to settle for second on Friday, but Bryce Everson sure wasn't going down easily. Everson produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

Coming up, Everson and Auburn will venture away from home to challenge Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
