Basketball Recap: Princess Anne Takes a Loss

Princess Anne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Landstown Eagles. The Cavaliers were probably out for revenge after losing 67-43 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Landstown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Damien Robinson out in front who went 5 for 10 on his way to 19 points and four steals. Josiah Law was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points and seven boards.

Princess Anne now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Landstown, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Princess Anne and Ocean Lakes will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princess Anne is facing Ocean Lakes at the right time seeing as Ocean Lakes is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Landstown will take on Bayside in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
